Monday

Strength Foundation

Lifting technique first, load second. Barbell fundamentals and structural strength that hold up under fatigue.

Hybrid Skills

The eight HYROX stations, drilled. Sled, ski, burpee broad jump, wall balls — technique and transitions.

Friday

Performance Development

Race-specific strength, pacing discipline and compromised running. Where the race gets rehearsed.

9:30 – 11:00 AM Advanced

July → December

Five months,
one trajectory.

Nothing here is random. Each block earns the right to the next one.

Jul – Aug

Foundation

Movement quality, station skills, aerobic fitness. Build the engine and the technique to use it.

September

Base

Endurance, volume, consistency. The unglamorous block that decides December.

October

Build

Intensity climbs. Strength and race-specific fitness develop together, not in isolation.

November

Perform

Pacing, transitions, execution under race conditions. Rehearse until it's automatic.

December

Peak

Sharpen, taper, arrive. HYROX Malaysia, 12–13 December.

Rupert Chen

Rupert has coached endurance athletes in Malaysia since 2018, taking runners and triathletes from first race to national-level competition. RC‑X applies that same periodized approach to HYROX — every session written for where the cohort is, and adjusted for where it needs to be by December.
